In short: we use PostHog analytics, the contact form emails your submission to us (and may add it to our lead list), and we don’t sell your data.
About this site
This is a private, pre-launch build of the EvidenceField site. It’s marked “noindex” and isn’t promoted anywhere — if you’re here, you likely followed a direct link. This policy explains, plainly, what the site collects today and why, and it will be updated as the site changes.
Analytics
We use PostHog (PostHog Cloud, hosted in the United States) to understand how the site is used. PostHog’s autocapture is turned on, which means it automatically records clicks and input interactions across the site, and we log a pageview event every time you navigate to a new page. This works using cookies and local storage in your browser.
The contact form
If you fill out the contact form, we collect the fields you enter: first name, last name, email, and optionally a company name and a message. When you submit the form, we call PostHog’s identify()function, which links your email address to your analytics session — so we can see that a specific person started or completed the form, rather than just an anonymous visitor.
Submitting the form sends those fields to us directly by email so we can reply, and it may also be added to our internal lead list so we can follow up. The analytics events described above are recorded alongside your submission, not instead of it.
What we do with this data
We use it to understand how people are engaging with the concept, and to follow up with people who’ve expressed interest. We do not sell personal data. Contact form submissions pass through Resend, our email delivery processor, and may be stored in our own internal lead list — we don’t share your data with anyone beyond those processors.
Where your data is processed
Analytics data is processed by PostHog in the United States.
Your choices
You can ask us to access or delete any data we hold about you by reaching out via the contact page. You can also limit analytics collection using your browser’s tracking protections, a tracker or ad blocker, or by disabling cookies — the site will still work, though we’ll have less visibility into your visit.
Changes
As the site and the underlying product evolve — including if we add a real backend, additional services, or launch commercially — this policy will be updated to reflect what’s actually collected. Check the “Last updated” date above.
